Terms of sale

1. Scope and seller identity

These terms govern access to PacingCarbs — a sports nutrition plan generator — and the sale of the plans described on the Pricing page.

2. Offers and prices

The Free plan gives you one complete plan, at no cost and without a card. Single plans are sold as credits that never expire. The Season plan is a twelve-month subscription that renews automatically. Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, and exclude any bank charges your own provider may apply.

3. Payment and invoicing

Payments are processed by Stripe. No card data passes through or is stored on our servers.

Stripe acts solely as a payment service provider. The seller is the operator named in article 1: they invoice you, they are who any complaint should be addressed to, and they remain bound by the obligations under these terms.

The operator is covered by the French small-business VAT exemption, so prices are net of tax and no VAT is charged or recoverable: VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. A receipt is issued for every payment.

4. Right of withdrawal and waiver

Under articles L221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen days to withdraw from the contract.

Because the service is digital content supplied immediately, article L221-28 3° provides that this right lapses once you have given your express consent to immediate performance and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. That consent is requested at the payment step, on the checkout page, before the order is confirmed: the corresponding box must be ticked for the order to complete, and the acceptance is timestamped and retained.

Failing such consent, or for any order placed before this was introduced, withdrawal remains available for fourteen days for as long as no plan has been generated using the credit or subscription purchased. A refund is then issued within fourteen days, by the same payment method.

5. Cancellation

The Season subscription can be cancelled at any time from your account area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, which has already been paid for, with no pro-rata refund.

6. Availability and liability

The service is provided without any guarantee of continuous availability. Generated plans are estimates based on an effort model and on nutritional values declared by manufacturers: they do not constitute medical or dietary advice, and acting on them is your sole responsibility. Our liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service concerned.

7. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Fraudulent use — in particular reselling or sharing Season access — may lead to suspension of the account without refund.

8. Complaints, mediation and governing law

Complaints should be sent to contact@pacingcarbs.com. An amicable resolution will be sought before any legal action.
